SOUND OF SILENCE

With „STRING VIBRATIONS“ LAPROKAY combines music and

painting to create an expressive visual composition.

The harpist seems to become one with her instrument, whilst the strings permeate the pictorial space as visible vibrations, translating sound into a visual language.

The harmonious colour palette of turquoise, blue and grey tones is effectively accentuated by the vibrant red of the hair.

Cubist-inspired forms, delicate lines and multi-layered textures lend the work a sense of dynamism and spatial depth.

Lost in thought with her eyes closed, the musician embodies a moment of complete devotion. The painting invites the viewer not merely to listen to music, but to experience it as an inner resonance and an emotional experience.
